I haven't heard of Joey Alexander. But taking my cue from your note that he is young, I listened to the music without looking at the video to hear the music on it's own merits. He has a lot of skill, and a good player. But he sounded a bit wooden and programed to me. He played all the notes very well, but there was an element of feel and personality that was missing.

Unfortunately, really young really good players suffer from having an audience that has a bias of lowered expectations when listening to their music. For some people, realizing good music is coming from someone young they don't think normally should be that good makes them think the music is even more fantastic than it really is. The problem is when the kid gets older, the bias disappears, and what was thought of as phenomenal music before is now seen for common good music everyone else is also playing.

I like this better than the Grammy video. Again, I listened to it without watching the video images, and deemed the music a good solid standard performance you can hear from a group of union musicians.

ZZ, I read my posts from last night about Joey Alexander and want to apologize. You must really enjoy his playing to post it and I was overly critical of the performance. My comments may discourage you or others from posting music you enjoy, and that was not my intent or purpose.
