He gets out and jams and has fun. Dave hides away like a recluse. Dave is like someone who inherited a trust fund.

Von was backstage for a lot of the Sam and Dave tour and he said Sam's gang was always having fun. Dave's band was fun too. But Dave? Yeah, not hardly. He ain't the happy party guy everybody thinks he is.

I don't really care about DLR's personal life as long as he's not doing the Michael Jackson diddling little boys. I just want entertainment.

Honestly, I doubt Dave has much "life" during his personal time off...

As his popularity wanes and his cool slides into creepy... He doesn't have much to fall back on. It's got to be an empty place... no family of his own... no grand illusions... no fans... no relevancy... no work... sad.

At least he has a fan website chronicling every exciting event in his busy life... Rothfans... LOL

That's right. And he lives in that big ol' empty mansion that doesn't even have much furniture in it. Just an empty house with not much going on. Not that that's a bad thing - I don't mind being alone either. But it would be nice if the guy actually put out some music or did a few shows here and there. Otherwise there's not a lot of interest there, at least for me.

I don't care...

Just put out another album...

or another show...

Otherwise, I just find something else to entertain me when I want to be entertained...

If talking about DLR entertains me, then I'll do that...

unless it doesn't entertain me...

Then I stop doing that...

That was entertaining...

My favorite part are the punchlines DLR sets up, "Right behind her was one of the production assistants clearly there for the documentary. She was a hot number, like a Naomi Campbell, and the kid says, “Would you have eaten her?” The old man says to the boy, “No, this one we would take home and then we would eat mom.”
