privilege management

Postby Funkmonkey » Thu Sep 01, 2016 11:14 am

As you know, Windows is capable of managing different login accounts on a computer. What is key here is users often have different levels of access and privilege assigned to the account depending on what they are allowed to do on the computer. So there needs to be some way of assigning these rights. So the Windows Privilege Manager app can accomplish this. Just once in my life, I would like to attend a presentation in which the presenter is having difficulty accessing material on the network to display on the projection screen or conference room monitor. I would recommend that they open the Privilege Manager and be sure to ... wait for it ..... check their privilege.

In a perfect storm, the presenter would be one of those social justice warrior card carrying black panther lives matter individuals. Then with a straight face, I would suggest they use the Privilege Manager to assign themselves privilege.

You know each of you want to do it. Let's all make a pact, right here right now. Let's form our own little secret society with the one rule that each of us has to successfully execute this maneuver at least once.

We need a name for this society.

If somebody ever comes up to me telling me to check my privilege, I'm going to to tell them to suck my dick.

Ah, but you see, LT, this revenge is much better because the victim does not know they've been owned.

Works best in pretentious environments among people who think they have wisdom people actually care about.
