Pitfall II was way ahead of its time. I loved that game...by far the best one on the 2600.

I thought Yar's Revenge was really stupid. But I kept playing it anyway.

Yeah, I remember that one and it was pretty stupid. I used to have this game I never could figure out called Riddle Of The Sphinx. The riddle was figuring out how to play the game, I guess. It seemed pretty dumb. There were alot of halfass games on the 2600. Remember ET? They say that game was partially responsible for the video game crash of 83.

I liked playing that castle game. It had play action like pong, but you had to bounce the ball at the opponent's castle to break through and kill the castle's King. Up to four people could play against each other.

Can you imagine spending a little over a third of a year playing Nintendo games to beat all of them? Must be nice to have that much spare time, although I could find better ways of spending that time.
